Like many other cases around the nation, Rodriquez argved that any financing system which allowed one district to spend substantially more per student than another was unconstitutional because it violated the equal protection amendment of the constitution. In reversing Rodriquez, the Supreme Court, in effect, said in tax systems is apparent. There are three general approaches to school financial equality: 1.
