TV EDITOR r presentation of The Waltons this coming Thursday (Ch. 5, 7 p.m. Nov. 3) an air of excitement sweeps the household as Mary Eller. (Judy Norton-Taylor- ) awaits the arrival of a baby. I would like to wager that will be one night CBS will take the ratings race. Mitchell, a police thriller of last weekend, which had Utahn Merlin Olsen in the cast, featured three violent murders, including one w here a victim was shot just abov e the eyes. Starsky and Hutch, which is amusing at times, had some violence on its show last weekend, not as much as it had last season, bnt more than in previous episodes this season. The producers are showing they will make programs the way they want to will have to become more attractive than it was in the first episode. The acting was good, the script was well done, but this certainly does not have the appealing qualities of a !l P(IB Sponsored by tbe 5o!r Lobe Public Communications Council of The Church Saints and KTVX Channel 4 Television. of Jesus Chnsr of Loner-da- y |
