Wbhn Sie zu sehr beschHftigt sind, FRANKFURT, GERMANY A series of six posters centered around the theme Understanding Begins With Listening is proving to be a successful new approach to proselyting in the Germany Frankfurt Mission. The posters, developeo from an idea of the ' Ilomelront Senes used on radio and television in the United States, are well adapted to the German society. The idea of the posters came from the Church Public Communications Dept, in Salt Lake City, since radio and TV aie not as accessible in Germany as in the U. S. Each poster carries a different message, centered on the Understanding Begins With Listening theme. A few of the posters deal with family relations, directly relating to family home evening, while others are geared toward listening at work and some are geared to different individuals within a society hoping to reach all people with the various messages. Using the posters as their tool, the missionaries contacted businesses in the mission area, seeking permission to hang the posters in the various places of business. The fact that the posters are in a series gives the missionaries another proselyting advantage. The posters are changed each week, and this gives the missionaries the opportunity to relay gospel messages to the businessmen involved. i Success has not been limited to just small business firms, however. The elders handling the posters noted that each time the posters are presented or placed, a discussion ' about the Church is given At the bottom of each poster, the name of the Church is prominently displayed. Mission Pres. Eli K. Clayson presented the poster program idea to the presidents of 13 missions at a mission presidents seminar held recently in Vienna. The mission has received publicity on the program through newspapers, radio and television. g "Do you really take the time to listen?" asks the poster.
