bead and tabled this bill is similar to that introduced by mr A P rockwood in the house on the tile dinst and arid it provides that it shall bo be unlawful for the judge pr or clerk of any election put on on any iny ballot that may inny be offered atthe polls any figure letter ietter or mark of any kind whereby ft it may be known how pr for whom any elector has voted it also provides that immediately after the closing of the polls on election day tile the judge and clerk of election shall a and count the votes in tho the presence of the persons voted for who may choose to be present in
