criss-crossin- Bona Vista Water District now in the midst of a $700000 job of installing pipe lines for distribution of culinary water covers much of the area west of Ogden City and north into Randall Mr Baker also reported that subdividers have asked for 1100 water connections in the district between Ogden and North Ogden and that water would probably be turned into the system in late November or early December There are two principal reasons why the Bona Vista Water District hastaken on the additional sewage disposal work First Mr Baker explained one area can't be covered by two differ e n t improvement districts Already in the culinary water business the Bona Vista Water District also may be in a sewage disposal program soon However this would not mean another bond issue said Linn C Baker district secretary-treasure- r who reported that the board of directors had voted to accept the responsibility of the areas sewage disposal Subdividers within the district urged Bona Vista Water District to serve as the political entity for administering development of new sewage lines This proposal was also explored by the Weber County Commission Mr Baker said before it was finally adopted by the tem home owners would pay a connection fee After that they would pay for the service monthly or Meantime Mr Baker said work is moving along smoothly "on the installation of water distributing with taxing powers This ruled out creation of a separate sewage district Second because of trunk lines much of the district constructed by the Cenalready District suptral' Weber Sewage to will homes lines plying! sewage be a comparatively pimple job There are trunk lines all running to the Slaterville treatment plant running through Wilson semi-monthl- g y ' equipment The high reservoir in Plain City is nearing completion creating a new landmark in that part of the county It has a ca142-fo- ot pacity of 250000 gallons Marriott Slaterville Harrisville and Randall or North Washington Boulevard area Actual installation of the sewer lines would probably be done by subdividers said Mr Baker Their investment would be paid off by the monthly sewage fee paid by users of the system The Bona Vista Water District would handle collection of the charges and in turn would pay the subdividers When they hooked into the sys Four different contractors are now laying water lines in the' district And the final contract for a 250000-galloreservoir in the Randall foothills will be let' on Sept 3 Mr Baker said officials of the district had hoped for an earlier completion date but it now appears water won't be turned into the new system for another two f to three months and ' n one-hal- ®£m to SG JMMFWME t Diamonds are forever in happiness for all h years to come Investigate before you buy Don't be
