Show library staff feels it unnecessary to educate college students in the area of moral responsibility and respect for their peers. The responsibility is placed before us. Do we have respect for ourselves to pick it up? Do we respect ourselves enough to go to a conference room or an unused classroom to discuss the problems relevant to a forthcoming test or party? It does not seem so. Are we so interested in doing what we wish when we wish that we are willing to jeopardize our ct as a group and own as individuals? Symphony Debs Show Active Campus Women I think the College Women! Are you caught in the dilemma between college or community activities? Symphony Debs solves this problem. It works for the community as a college organization. Organized to lend their support to the Utah Symphony, these girls work in conjunction with the University of Utah Symphony Debs and Symphony Guild to promote the Utah Symphony's activities. Activities include money-makiprojects, guest artists, symposiums, a dinner dance, and monthly combined meetings held on our campus with the University. The big event of the year will be the presentation of the debs to Maestro Abravanel at the Annual Symphony Ball. This year the club has grown from 8 to 25 members. I lasted about ten minutes and accomplished virtually nothing. Talking was so loud and widespread that studying was dif- ficult. Before leaving I made an observation. At only three tables in the entire library were there . -- people studying, and each of these tables was occupied by only one person. Why? Is it the new librarians? Are they not telling people to be quiet? Has the eternal shhhh due to some met with new social mores? I do not think so! iU-rep- ute Crown cleaning and SHIRT LAUNDRY Open 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 6 days a week . Quality work guaranteed cessive speed, either intentionally or accidentally.
