The first problem is lack of concern for the purpose and functions of our student government. The second is lack of support for college activities. If we There are many functions throughout the year which need our support such as athletic events, Homecoming, Mardi Gras, I.R.C., and dances. A few people devote their time and energy to make these events a success. They would like to have some support and cooperation on the part of the rest of us. The S.G.A.C. meetings are open for all who wish to attend, but interest is so that often the people to be there dont bother to go, low who are supposed much less anyone else. Im- portant decisions, affecting all of us, are made in these meetings. Isnt it about time we began taking some part in these decisions rath- er than complaining after the fact? Homecoming is the big event on campus this weekend. I would like to see all of you prove me wrong by coming out en masse and breaking all records for attendance at the Classifieds rally, parade, game and dance. pajamas. Mrs. Williams was striking in a very long red nightgown, compliments of Harlows Department Store. Mr. Williams was attired in Bermuda pajamas. Herb Manning won the prize for the most original mens pajamas. He wore a bow tie and .matching cummerbund to compliment his ensemble. Music was provided by Den- nis Helgeson. Refreshments were served by a committee headed by Stan Jones. Ron Twelves helped serve and spill the punch- - Decorations were provided by Gun Hart heading a committee of: Jo Priester, Snort Short, Turdle Hunter and Poo Hoff. Pajama-cla- d i r'. This is true not only with Westminster College, but it applies to any campus in the country. The difference between having a successful weekend that will give us a great sense of pride in ourselves and each other or in presenting a par or below par effort simply boils down to student participation. Bad weather can always cripple our parade hopes, but no matter how bad it is it cannot ruin our Homecoming.
