Show 'iiMffr The Payson Chronicle, April 7, 1999, Page 9 Cub Scout Poster Contest Winners There were 105 entnes this year as opposed to 65 1st year. A great percentage of the posters were Wolf Scouts, so the judges decided to give double prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and the of honorable mention. The posters were judged on seven categories: color, neatness, theme, originality, detail, work put into poster, and talent displayed. Other packs participating were 3156, 4574, 3963, 3197, and 3647 in Nephi. Great prizes were awarded. All 1st place winners received bird feeder kits, 2nd place received Cub Scout flashlights, 3rd place winners received Cub Scout comb and nail clipper sets, 4th placed received Cub Scout collapsible cups, and honorable mention received Cub Scout emblem stickers. Books will be on sale from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. New officers will be introduced and installed by the International Society at the convention. The cost for lunch, to be catered by Fiesta Catering, is $4. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from any of the camps or by calling Helene Jones, outgoing president, at 465-0- 5 14. This d event that will have a Western theme will be held in the auditorium of the Peteetnect Academy.
