The Spring Ceilidh is a traditional celebration featuring the ritual tasting of the haggis. Honorary Chieftain Congressman Bill Orton was represented by his father, Donald Orton. Kimball S. Anderson served as Master of Ceremonies. The Payson High School Pipe Band, under the direction of Keith Russell, helped usher in the evening, and along with the traditional activities, dancers and singers (including the Payson Civic Chorale) provided the entertainment while guests enjoyed a chicken breast banquet meal.
