Show "F SCHOOL NEWS Managing Stress class taught at resource center Beginning Wednesday, October 19, the Parent Resource Center will be teaching a class on Managing Stress. This class will be taught at the Parent Resource Center in Springville, 175 South Main, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. for four weeks. This course is a very class in recognizing and dealing with the everyday stress that everyone is faced with. Many illnesses have a strong stress component, and it is believed that if people can be taught constructive ways of managing stress in their lives, they can be helped to live healthier physical and mental lives. This course has been developed through the State Department of Health under the direction of Mrs. Sue Breckenridge. Dianne Carr, the instructor for this class, has attended a training course with Mrs. Breckenridge. She is very enthused about teaching the class and about, the significant effect it has had on the lives of many of those who have taken the class previously. This is an educational program dealing with the prevention of sexual abuse and is designed for elementary-ag- e children kindergarten through 6th grade. James Jasperson James Lewis Jasper-son- , 77, of Goshen, Utah, died October 7, 1983, in Utah Valley Hospital, Provo, Utah, of a blood clot. He was born September 2, 1906, in Goshen, Utah, the son of James Julian and Mary Alice Lewis Jasperson. He was a Goshen rancher. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church. He was a World War II Veteran and was a member of the Goshen American Legion Post. He was active in the Cattlemens Association. He is survived by 1 brother, Raymond Jasperson, Goshen, Utah, and nieces and gives results Taylor Elementary had their Flower, Garden and Hobby Show on Thursday, September 22.
