Christmas 967-68- 969-241- on The location was the lobby of the THIS ATTRACTIVE lobby of the was lovingly made and Im sure those children eagerly look forward to seeing their decoration on the wall. No matter how old that child gets he or she will always remember mom's thoughtfulness. Making graham cracker houses is another tradition in one home. Granted, the children probably get more candy inside them than what goes on the houses, but its all so much fun in the process. Each family seems to have established their own particular tradition and what a variety is found. When those children grow up and establish homes of their own many of the traditions will endure and enrich the next generation. I've established some traditions of my own which I hope my children will continue. For one, we have always baked goodies and distributed them to our friends on or near Christmas day. The baking begins on Thanksgiving day w hen the adults are busy watching that football game and the children are bored. Thats the time to begin the yearly project and it is so much fun. We freeze them as we go and by the time Christmas gets here we usually have a pretty good variety. I also love to decorate the house, watch eagerly for the first buds on my Christmas cactus, and get out the Christmas music. Many of my readers Im sure do the same thing. Isnt it marvelous, even though it does get a bit hectic. We as a people need traditions. They are what glues together the generations, the ages, and society. They lend stability to our lives and help us to appreciate our place in the eternal scope of humankind. If you dont have a Christmas tradition, start one today! If you have many that have been passed down through the general ions be sure and teach your children their value, their, goodness, r May you have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! ft' ' 8 LDS across from Temple Square.
