Calabash Cousins Entertain Realty Group The Calabash Cousins entertained the employees and wives of the Salt Lake Realty on Dec. 14 at the home of their manager, D. C. Knudsen, 3766 Haven Way, Salt Lake City. The program was arranged by Realtor W. J. Peterson of Granger who also entertained. Kimbo the Clown Big Success! Kimbo the Clown was a great hit with Kearns Jaycee children at the annual party, held Dec 13, at St. Francis Hall. Kimbo surprised the children with his beautiful voice, who did not know that a clown could sing so well. The children also en- - I joyed singing carols, led by Dave Rodrigues, and the songs of Miss Kearns and her brother, Larry Casebolt. Each child re ceived refreshments and a stocking stuffed with goodies. Wanda Deal and Delores Rodrigues were in charge. LOOK T-- -e Special Education combines everyday situations with academic subjects for greater comprehension. Children in Mrs. Barbara McGees class at Western Hills, typical of other such classes, are studying homes, including apartment buildings and the like. Girls Club 1963 extends a hearty thanks to Jay of the Gould, President-elec- t Kearns Chamber of Commerce, and George Slack, President of the Kearns Jaycees, for the terrific Christmas party they put on for the club Saturday afternoon. There were 49 girls attending the party, which was held at the Valley Swim Club in Granger. Santa and all his helpers put on a delightful program. A duet by Candace Wilkes and Vicki Munoz was sung, and Carolyn Moore, Kathy Calder-wooCindy Rogers, and Judy Goodlaxen were most entertaining. Aspecialty dance by Theresa Org was presented, followed by a jolly number by Margaret Curley. A treat for the girls was a number by the Junior group, Patty Preece, Sandy Symon, and pretty Peggy Holstien. The choir was comprised of Bridgette Baker, Kathy Lund-quis- t, Sherry Snow, Laura Harper, Peggy Ann Fern, Debra Culp, and Donna Cheney. Each girl who attended the party brought something for the clubs project. The program they put on was beautiful and they are to be congrat ulated for their help and cooperation in this activity. The huge box of food and clothing being prepared for their family is growing each day, reports their leader, Mrs. Irene Rogers. Everyone in the community who feels they would like to share their Christmas with a family less fortunate than themselves may call Mrs. Rogers at CY Donations of good clothing, food, or toys would be appreciated. Over forty members of the Home Builders Association of Greater Salt Lake will depart Salt Lake this coming Wednesday morning, to attend a Na: tional Convention and Exposi-tio- n at McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois. The annual five day convention will be attended by home builders and suppliers from the fifty states, Canada and other parts of the world. j The exposition and convention enables home builders to become students for five days, and learn through lectures and seminars, all that is new in home building, architectural designs, land planning, cost planning and analysis, business management, etc. The convention this year will attract over 45,000 participants.
