attend to matters of business that pertains to the whole church not only for the people in this territory but we have met to do business that concerns all nations and people both the livin living and the dead or those who have ve passed belind behind the veil and I 1 feel to rejoice inthe in the privilege we now have I 1 know that this is the kingdom of god it ra is that kin kingdom kindom dom which was shown to the pro prophet het bet D daniel iel lel as recorded in the second halter capter ha lter pter of his book this is the kingdom that was set up in the days of 0 jesus au and it is the kingdom that our father and god set up after he or organized anizel this earth and he is the king but etere there are and will be tens of thousands af kings this side of him and will be a perpetual emual increase of kings and priests in the f kingdoms cing xing in doms of our father I 1 desire to express my ray feelings in a few words upon those things that you may know how hov I 1 feel and understand that I 1 view this k kingdom as some thing that pertains to or tat teat will effect all the creatures of god in this creation yes the thousands and millions of beings who have not yet a appeared upon this tage stage of action it is that kingdom that concerns every man that ever did live or that thit ever will live I 1 wish to encourage you elders and al all ail good saints to live so as to get that spirit that is promised to the faithful and let us lay aside our selfishness and become interested in the general welfare of the kingdom of god for it is something thing that should interest every man and woman in the world this church is that church which has been spoken of by the prophets and this people constitute that kingdom that was to come forth in the latter days we are members of this kingdom and we proceeded from the king oc of this earth vve we are all his sons and when through our obedience we become heirs of god and joint heirs with jesus christ we in reality become princes princess for we emanated from that kin king and he is our father and god and he will call every son and daughter of adam to an account for their deeds it does not liot matter whether they belong to the church or are outside of the fold of christ our father will call them lo 10 0 o give an account for the deeds done in the body and the spirits of men that were in existence before brethren and from us to you you hold that priesthood and authority in connection with them and except you are connected with them you cannot have any priesthood or authority you must honor that tree it was the brethren in authority in the priesthood who called you into the house of the lord but you made your covenants with god the brethren were merely the witnesses of those things which you did of the covenants you made with the father with the son with the holy ghost and with all the heavenly hosts and your brethren stood as witnesses for god and an lour you will have to give an account of the way and manner you keep and observe those covenants there are many who think these things are 0 of f no rio account but I 1 will tell you brethren that you will vill be straightened out when the lord appears taking vengeance upon those that will not obe obey his gospel in that day the wicked will be e as chass chaff chaefer chaffer or stubble and they will be destroyed from the earth and not thel the froth roth atthe at the mouth they did and they jumped and ind made a terrible stew but I 1 do not know that they have ever hurt anybody they have bare not had the power to meddle with or hurt anybody excepting those who wanted to be meddled with with now I 1 consider that those men and women who have suffered ered themselves to be overcome by those hogs bogs are no better than the hogs themselves this may be considered a very good introduction in my way to this general conference I 1 do not know that I 1 ever felt better in my life than I 1 do today to day I 1 feel that I 1 can touch a little thing thins here and another there and I 1 see before me ten thousand times more than I 1 I 1 speak of and among the many things that I 1 can see one is that all the hogs are going to leave as fast as they can if the elders and saints will only do right all will be right for them and with them and they ought to know that the responsibility is upon their shoulders if you brethren go and sell your wheat that will not be laid to the sisters excepting in those cases where the men raen are under petticoat government those who do this tilts are taking 11 a course that will wilt bring
