Show SATURDAY EVENING SEPTEMBER 15 1928 ' ' - Intended For Expenses Until Tax Money i Comes In For the first time in the history Election of the Ogden public schools the board of education at its meeting Friday night called for bids on funds to carry the current expenses of the school system until the tax money becomes available The policy of the board has been to borrow money from one of the Ogden banks as needed until the later part of December when the tax money relieves the situation and no more borrowing is necessary This year however the board has decided to ask the Ogden banks to bid for the loan on the basis of amount of interest required Due to the amount of building done this summer and now in progress the loan will run between $115000 and $125000" the board estimated The reportT of the Wayne May- hew company which has the auditing of the school books in charge was given covering the period between July 1 1926 and June 30 132S After a lengthy discussion action was deferred until the next board meeting Which will be held on September S2 SIMPSON BARN BURNED AGAIN Little One "With Matches Follows In Steps of Older Brother JiMT Simpson son of Mr and Mrs William E Simpson of K'anesville followed in the foot-isteof an older brother Mary 10 of age this morning when he years started a fire on the Simpson farm which did more than- -
