According to M. J. Frampton, general director, plans are al- ready under way for a Christmas parade, downtown lighting and home and commercial lighting contests. Christmas carolling will be doubled this year. - He also announced the support of the Retail Trades Bureau of Salt Lake, which has authorized an increase of assessments to members from $1 to $1.25 per front foot to help finance the Christmas lighting program.
