Douglass Van Justice Duser said he would ,pass sentence at 7 a.m., MST Saturday, on the Valley Stream, N. Y. youth who was convicted in Ontario County Court Thursday of first degree murder. A jury of 1Cr men and two women returned its verdict about 27 hours after it retired to deliberate. The jury recommended that the handsome youth be sentenced to life imprisonment. Without such recommendation the death sentence would be automatic upon conviction. Van Duser is empowered to accept or reject the recommendation, although the latter course is seldom taken bx a judge. McManus, who pleaded Innocent by reason of insanity, was tried specifically, for the slaying last March 27 of William HoBraverman, a bart College student from Rochester, N. Y. He stole Braverman's red convertible and went on to kill four other persons in a five-da- y holdup spree I through the Midwest. 1 I. h M Sentence on Young Marine VER t EASY TERMS "Tito taint Poop,. in SIR , I 'Judge to Pass eZ11; 47airqr4) 'Y 1 dlettk ir at12 - SHOP' 74tIliGtilill 1 - 30. the-Inter- , 4 t..:::,':;::.,-i.:- AO t "44 if tie I Fred Nehor , fcir.
