We have been reading all kinds of stories and this week we enjoyed dressing up like ,characters in our stories and having a parade. Most of the boys and girls in the articulating unit classes were dressed as, Indians or poineers as they have been reading' Stories about the early ,, history of Utah. The sixth grade children were dressed as European children as their stories were about pe9- plc of the European countries. The children of the fourth and fifth grades have been studying stories of fairy land. And, oh, such Interesting characters. Alice from Wonderland was present, the Wizard of Oz was there too. Many of the boys and girls made their own costumes. We the characters very enjoyed much. They seemed to make our stories live.Meralyn Joy Wright The children of Room 11. under the direction of Miss Edith Cariquist have been singing Thanksgiving hymns. We like these hymns very much. We have also been writing original poems. We enjoy this way of expressing our thanks. We have been studying about the Utah Pioneers. The pioneers started a school just three months after they came to Utah. a tent. This- school was like your How would you school to be a tent?Vern Allen, Room look-clea- clock.
