Maggie Frazier, a freshman studying public health, uses the climbing wall to add variety to her workout. 1 started climbing when I was 13, she wowm mm said while lacing up her climbing shoes. Frazier balances her workouts between a weight-trainin- g class, Pilates and climbing. Climbing is a huge core workout which is the biggest thing for me. You can do as much as you want, but if you dont have core endurance its harder to stay on the wall. ct Because climbing is considered a sport, Frazier chose the womens-onl- y climbing class and Pilates as her two main workout classes. I decided to focus more on my core when I came to college because I have a lot of joint issues, she said as she started choosing her line up the wall. low-impa- The wall is marked with many different colors and climbing holds which indicate a route up the wall.
