The two were sent to a National Association of Campus Activities conference because Leven was the Concerts and Comedians Chair, and Raich was the Activities Coordinator. At the conference, Leven and Raich started bouncing ideas off of each other. By the end, we were like we can do this, said Raich. Leven and Raich campaigned together. Leven said running together like they did is not typicaL One could have won without the other. Leven won by more than 20 percent while Raich won by more than 50 percent. Leven and Raich said they are compatible and strengthen each others ideas. Raich said, Its beneficial to have us both. He has not declared a major, but he said he will probably choose economics and minor in philosophy or Spanish. He came to Westminster because of the mountains. Raich will be a senior next year. Her major is social science and her minor is history. She is from Price, Utah. She came to Westminster as a drama and speech Sterling Scholar. She was attracted to Westminsters small size. Leven and Raich said they originally couldnt see themselves as president and vice president. Leven said he thought he would spend all of his free time on the VOLUME XU: ISSUE 15 IW r slopes.
