Students who voted for Bush did so because they saw Bush as supporting moral values and because they agreed with his policies. 1 voted for Bush because his standards are similar to mine, said Thomas Rigby, a Westminster College freshman majoring in business. Students who supported Kerry are finding it difficult to confront Bushs victory. Shurtleff -- Staff Writer Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Rapunzel and giants could be found wandering around the Jewett Center for Performing Arts last Thursday, Friday and Saturday as the musical Into the Woods opened last weekend. This was a historic event for the theater department since this was the first theater production to take place in the newly renovated performing arts building. Into the Woods took place in the Courage Theater all three nights at 7:30 p.m. and at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Students, faculty and the outside public packed the seats to see the show. The audience was so packed on Friday night that 4 OSPage did Westminsters ' The art departments professors and adjuncts display their work for the annual Faculty Art Exhibit. ( nt the team. It included a cast of 21, an orchestra of 14 and a huge production crew. Not only did it take a large group of people to put it on, but it also took a lot of time from everyone as well. The show has been in rehearsal since September, and the construction and costume crews have spent numerous hours perfecting every aspect of the show. Michael Vought directs the show and Christopher Quinn is the musical director. Vought said the show turned out better than he ever could have expected.
