Johnson has a deep affinity for the northern region, by the Great Lakes and an affinity for the Native American culture within that area. The drama begins when they cross paths with a group of men on the run from possible criminal prosecution. A recent review from the Star of The Devil You Know captures the essence of Johnsons writing. Johnson manages the dazzling feat of surrounding his mythic confrontation with a human of a drama, the coming-of-ag- e troubled teenager that is as subtly realistic as the battle with evil is archetypally grand. Subach works have appeared in The American Poetry Review, Review, Birmingham Cimarron Review, Cutbank, Folio, Grace, Haydens Ferry Review, The Iowa Journal of Literary Studies, Kalliopc and other journals. Hiatt again led the Griffins against Georgetown, scoring with 20 points. Jared Roberts and Shane Humphreys scored 10 points first-roun- each. I have never been more proud of a team than I was of this one, said Connor. I had a group of 16 individuals that maximized their talents and became a cohesive unit.
