Dear Miss M, I have a problem. I think that Im in love with my professor. I cant get him off my mind. When Im in his class I just stare at him and hope that he looks at me. Sometimes I swear that he looks at me different than the rest of the girls in class. Im wondering if I should tell him how I feel or just continue to suffer in silence. I know he knows who I am, for example, one day when he was handing papers back to the class he said Direct flights to Washington, D.C., will leave on Saturday, April 24, and return on Monday, April 26, with hotel room included. Hot for Teacher Dear Hot for Teacher, Clubs, Organizations Recruit New Members This could potentially be a very uncomfortable situation for you and your teacher. I really think that you should reconsider his feelings for you. Just because a teacher knows your name does not mean they are sexually or romantically attracted to you. In fact all of your Professors here at Westminster College had better know your name. I also would think of the ethics involved with dating a teacher. As far as I am concerned, a professor should not date a student until the student no longer attends the school. There are plenty of available guys here on campus, and dating them would be a lot simpler. It is easy to develop crushes on authority figures. In fact it is rather normal. But I would keep it as a crush, and not act upon it, and save you from a very embarrassing situation. Miss M Dear Miss M, Please help me! Last night I was having sex with my boyfriend when the condom fell off. Neither of us noticed until it was too late. Condoms are the only form of birth control that we use, and I am terrified of becoming pregnant. I could not even think of having an abortion if I was pregnant, and we are not at a place in life where we could support a child. What should I do? -- i1 pi2s 4 4 Dear Condom Conundrum, & sS. iR. t "vf f, , ft? A Serious Condom Conundrum 4 $ Since you are involved in a serious relationship, you should really consider getting on the pill. That would prevent this kind of problem in the future. You do have another option for this crisis though, the morning after pill. It is available through Planned Parenthood and is very successful up to 120 hours after intercourse. This is what I would recommend that you use. But more importantly get on the pill. All of us have experienced embarrassing moments with condoms, so dont feel too bad, and if you decide to use the pill, and you are both disease free, then your days of condom conundrums will be over.
