Candidates for Professor of the Year were nominated by Westminsters student body. Students wishing to nominate a professor were informed how from the A.S.W.C., and nomination forms to do so, by were made available in the A.S.W.C. office. Candidates were then voted upon by seniors voting in the A.S.W.C. elections. When the voting was finished, two Westminster professors had tied for Professor of the Year. Janine Wanlass, Assistant Professor of Psychology, was one of those two. Wanlass earned a B.S., from Brigham Young University, and earned her M.S., and Ph.D., from the University of Utah. Wanlass has been with Westminster since 1990.
