For the residents of Hogle Hall, what was supposed to be a night of peaceful sleep and studying, turned into an annoying noise that just wouldnt stop when the fire d and alarm continued to sound for 45 minutes, not once, but twice on March 19. If you have run into any of the Hogle residents within the last few weeks, you probably have seen scowls, tired eyes and grumpy people. The a fire alarm that reason decided to freak out not once, not twice, but five or six times in less than three nights. This short-circuite- ... isnt counting the times that it went off during the day when people were more than happy to be awake. The fire alarm went off at midnight March 17 and 18 and then on the third night it went crazy. This time, it didnt turn off though. Instead, it actually sounded like there was a real alarm because it kept short circuiting. After having the alarm ring for more than 30 minutes, Saeed Rezai, head of Campus Patrol, was called to come and turn the alarm off. Rezai called three technicians to fix the alarm See False Alarm page 6 Terry Davis and Holly Millerberg Forum staff writers Come rain, snow or shine the dedicated students faculty and friends of Westminster allege gathered at Liberty for annual Park the Gunderson Fun RunWalk on April 5. The amazing thing was that I sat in on the show free of charge. It was a shame seeing that few of my peers turned out for such a titillating performance. The old saying that young hold little wisdom proved true on this night. The audience was built almost exclusively out of an older, wiser generation. The band turned out some great tunes in the name of love. A love for music that they hope to pass on to future generations through supportive efforts like the Joe Muscolino Scholarship. is This scholarship to Westminster designed help students.
