He will leave for the mission home on August 11. Hans and VerLyn Miller will soon be in their new home. They are rushing to KATHY POLLARD MR. AND MRS. J. LaMar Hussey announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Dana to Richard Tucker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd J. Tucker. The marriage will be solemnized In the Mantl LDS Temple on September 7. The future bride Is a graduate of CEU and is currently employed at Carbon Hospital. The groom is presently employed at Plateau Mining and will attend CEU this fall. Mr. Tucker has recently filled an LDS mission to the England Central Mission. Barbra Ann Fram from West Jordan has been a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gebe Cox. Stacy returned to West Jordan for . a visit with the Frams. The Coxs lived for some time in West Jordan before moving to Ferron. The MIA held their 384 2338 presented in Sacrament meeting by the young people of the ward. Mrs. Barbara Nielsen and son, Scott from San Diego, Calif., spent a week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stanton plus Mrs. Ada Nielsen and other friends relatives. Julie Thomas, daughter of Karen returned Thomas, njunmmmussji to California with her for a visit. Leslie Thompson, who is employed in Salt Lake was home for the weekend at the home of his parents, the Preston Thompsons. Mrs. Edna Fish was in Salt Lake during the week visiting with her son Louis, who has had surgery at the Holy Cross Hospital on his nose. Mrs. Bertha Peterson is a patient at the Utah Valley Hospital where she had Many Styles & Colors I surgery. Mrs. Lareen Fish spent several days visiting in Fremont, Calif, with Vera Larsen and also at Sacramento with members of her family, the Fred Hirsts. Lillie Alseep is in Sun Valley, Calif, to visit with her daughter, Carol DeLeon and a granddaughter, Shiela plus her sister, Bernitta Lindquist. She will be gone for a month. Mike and Bonnie Pagano traveled by air for the first time to see her son, Kenneth Morgan and family of California; her sister, Mrs. Pete Brooker and Mikes sister, Mrs. Wally LarmUl. Ralph Crawford is home after a few days in the Carbon Hospital. Wilford Anderson is still in the hospital, but is reported to be improving. Dora and Lenard Thayn have been in Salt Lake so Dora may receive medical attention. Martin McPhie and Ruby Willis were dinner guests at their sons home on Provo last week. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Briest are on vacation in California. Afton and Ellen are on a fishing vacation after moving into their new home. County Fair to open August 13 The Carbon County Fair and Home economics exhibits will open August 13 at the Price Elementary school. The Fair will run for three days with floral, baked goods, Marilu Pittman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wooten Pittman Jr. of Macon, Ga., became the bride of Val Halamandaris, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Halamandaris of Belair Estates, Md. and formerly of Price, on July 21 at the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church in Macon. Dr. C.W. Hancock per- formed the ceremony. The brides sister, Mrs. Truett Lamar Elder, of was Ga., Dunwoody, matron of honor. The brides eldest niece, Sara Pittman Elder, of was maid of honor and her youngest niece, Clarice Eliza Elder was bridesmaid along with Carol Louise Pittman of Macon, cousin of the bride.
