In the tables following is shown a projection of possible amounts of income from the various sources, under varying rates and conditions. The tables also show estimated costs of operation of a city, based partly on past experience of the Galbreath operation and partly on anticipated future needs and conditions. When these costs are broken down to what, will it cost each of us?, the table would seem to show that costs for individual home owners for both service charges and additional taxes would not be exorbitant, when compared with charges and taxes presently in effect in other Utah cities of similar size. Assuming prudent administration of funds, it would seem entirely possible not only to operate a city successfully at a reasonable cost to each resident, but also to set aside a significant surplus for future use in improving community facilities. A municipality could own and control all the assets of the community, and could establish and maintain the identity and autonomy of a new city. Other Considerations 1. An additional method of solving our communities problems may be to annex both Dragerton and Columbia to Sunnyside City. Because of the many complications of such an- nexation, the committee has merely asked for the attitude of Sunnyside of- ficials regarding this possibility. So far, we have had no official response.
