ND will compete against Uir.tah, Union, Moab, Monticello, East Carbon and San Juan. The top three teams will go to the state finals. In golf lately, a new name has been dubbed to Gary Ortega. They call him The Pinner. Seems like whenever Gary caddies for the ND team he forgets to leave the flag or pin after the golfers are through with the hole. At a tournament held recently Gary walked away with the pin but didnt get too far because two irate golfers started to chase strikes again! him. The Pinner ND clubbers beat out East Carbon and Uintah golfers with 181 points at the Carbon Country Club golf course. ND defeated East Carbon by 27 strokes and Uintah by 68 strokes. All week, activities such as individual class assemblies, a hay contest, ending ride, with the freshman dance Saturday evening had been packed week. Planned into one by the Student Council, Sunshine Week hopes to develop a deep sense of unity and brotherhood among students. Huntington Canyon, here we Tomorrow (Friday) ND come! students will travel to Huntington Canyon for the annual school picnic. The whole day affair will be spent playing summer games and just plain having fun. Being the last picnic held at ND, this years trip will have a deep sentimental value for the students. Rcy-nolds of Dragerton has been ap- ri 1 pointed superintendent - mainten-puce, Western District - Coal, U. S. Steel Corporation. He succeeds John T.
