The survey is part of a nationwide effort to provide information needed to estimate planted acreage, crops, livestock numbers, and farm labor. In addition o the survey conducted at midyear, another on a smaller scale vill be made in December. In Utah, about 2,000 farms will be visited; across the country survey workers will conduct some 110,000 interviews. Two bids on road construction projects affecting traffic through this area were opened last week by the Utah Highway Department.
