S. Savings Stamps to buy a bond through the schools savings bond program. This year an outstanding example of support was recorded by the Price Elementary PTA stamp ladies. Over one thousand dollars in savings stamps were sold. Thirty-eigh- t certificates were awarded by Marie Snow, secretary of the school, to students who completed their stamp books enabling them to purchase a savings bond at one of the local banks. In charge of this years program were Janet Warren, Ranee Carr and Lorraine Stevens. The success of this years sales is largely due to the devoted efforts of these three ladies who assumed the responsibility of spending each Thursday stamp day at the school to accommodate and encourage the students to save for the future.
