Karen Truman drew the winning number at the drawing held the evening of December 21 at the Wasatch Furnace & Appliance Company. The funds derived from the sale of tickets will be apportioned for various projects at the club's meeting to be held January 12. The club extends its thanks to all who participated in the project. Divorce Actions Two divorces were filed in the Seventh Judicial District court for Carbon County by Connie Hatch vs. Dwain Hatch; Emma Yako-vich vs. David Yakovich. During the meeting, President Draney was given an ovation far his untiring service to the Chamber during the past year. Supplementing this honor, Carbon County Commission Chairman Gerald Oviatt thanked the Chamber for its support during the past year and President Draney for his efforts toward county improvement programs which had been initiated by the Chamber and approved by the county commission. The next meeting for the holdover and new board members will be January 4 at Jeanselmes Cafe. At that time the 1965 officers of the Chamber will be elected. All members of the Chamber of Commerce who are interested are urged to attend. Winter Quarter At Carbon To Open January 4 The Winter Quarter at Carbon College will begin Monday, January 4, 1965, and regular class-wor- k will be held the first day, according to an announcement by Lucile Jensen, registrar.
