Pink carnations and white mums with low white candles made a beautiful table centerpiece and other colorful spring flowers were used for decorations. Mrs. Frances Aitken led the Club Collect. The club approved the award of two Carbon College scholarships, one each to the Carbon and Notre Dame high schools, and President June Alice Burnett appointed Johnstun and Ruth Ardohain to select the Carbon student for this CULTURA CLUB HAS CLOSING BANQUET The closing banquet for Culture Club was held at Nicks Club, Dragerton, Wednesday, May 10. President Kate Olsen officiated as mistress of ceremonies. During the banquet, a gift was presented to each of her officers by Mrs. Olsen and as outgoing president she was presented a gift and a corsage from the membership. After a short business meeting, Ethel Malaby installed the following new officers: Patricia Waring, president; Rheta Burdick, vice president; Jewelle Self, secretary;, Mary Clark, treasurer; Valaine Moffitt, historian; Mrs. Olsen, parENGAGED . . . Hansen, 278 North Second East, Price. Miss Bardsley is attending Brigham Young University from where she plans to graduate next June with a degree in speech and hearing therapy. She is a member of the Y a cappella choir. Mr. Hansen will graduate from Carbon College in June.
