Bishop Ellis Peacock gave the opening and closing prayers. Mrs. Walter Daye, Mrs. Rollin and Mrs. Erroll Stott are the den mothers. The Past Matrons of Bethany Chapter No. 9, OES, held their meeting at the Lodge Hall Saturday of last week and elected the following officers for the ensuing year: Mrs. Ruby Beebe, president; Mrs. Delbert Cook, vice president; Mrs. Erma Wimmer, secretary, and Mrs. Mildred Purdy was retained as treasurer. Wann George Pierson was called to Cucamonga, California, this week to attend the funeral for his father, Axel Pierson. The elder Mr. Pierson was 88 years old.
