Farmers Urged to Keep Records as Census Aid Farmers are requested to give their assistance in providing the information needed for a complete and accurate census this Fall. To the census information, farmers will need to keep a few records. These are the kinds of records that should normally be kept for good farm management. According to Robert L. Hassell, Carbon county extension agent with Utah State University, Logan, the census questions will call for three kinds of information. The first is a count of farm resources such as farms, area of farms, acres of cropland, acres of pasture, numbers of each kind of livestock and poultry on farms, number of persons working on farms, and kinds of farm equipment. Second will be a request for a record of farm products produced and sold in 1959. The third kind of information asked will include such questions as how many days did the farmer work OFF his farm? how much fertilizer was "used this year? how much was spent for farm labor? farm custom .work? feeds? gas and oil? The law requires that data collected in the census can be used only for statistical purposes in obtaining totals for counties. Information for an individual farmer or farm cannot be made available to any tax or investment agency, From such information the census bureau compiles an inventory of our agricultural resources and a record of our farms and farm production for every county, This census will provide facts on the rapidly changing scene of agriculture," Mr. Hassell made only on 1911 and lae New Car Purchase models Financed on 6': flan Como In to PERRYS RADIO and TV Today! provide CHEVYS THE HOTTEST ONE AGAIN! .
