At the close of the meeting, Dr. and Mrs. Van Wieren will travel on to Mexico City where they will vacation for three weeks. Mrs. Mary Bon was called to Provo last week to be with her father, Sheldon Anderson, who underwent surgery at the Utah Valley hospital Wednesday. George Stella returned home Thursday evening after spending the past eighteen months in Germany serving with th U.S. Army. He sailed home aboard the U.S.S. Randall and was then sent to Ft. Chaffee, Arkansas, where he received his official discharge. During his stay in Europe, he was able to take two leaves and visited the scenic spots in France, Italy, Switaerland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the World's Fair in Belgium. Reverend and Mrs. Alex Moffatt spent several days last week in Salt Lake City with relatives. They attempted to drive home Saturday but were unable to make it because the roads were closed by the storm. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cloud and were forced to wait until the storm had subsided, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Bernardi have moved to Provo where he will attend a vocational school for the next six months. Ronald Ruskauff spent several days with his mother, Mrs. Beryl Ruskauff, and sister, Donna Kay, last week. Rusty has been employed at Riverside, California, for the past year. He was accompanied by Robert Morgan of Sunnyside, who is attending junior college in Riverside. Ben M. Johnson arrived home this week to spend an extended leave with his parents, Mr. and home Island.
