They must also show that their background will enable them to maintain simple records of accounts or that it has given them a knowledge of postal procedures. Applicants must take a written test which will be given at the Price post office. Applicants will be notified of the time. Those who pass will be assigned final ratings on the basis of this test and on their experience, and fitness for the position. They must have re sided within delivery of the office for one year immediately preceding the closing date of the examina tion. In addition, they must have reached their 18th birthday on the closing date for acceptance of applications. Persons over 70 years of age cannot be appointed. Complete information about the examination requirements and instructions for filing applications may be obtained at the postoffice for which this examination is being announced. Application forms must be filed with the U.S. Civil Service Commission, Washington 25, D.C., and must be received or postmarked not later than the closing date.
