Show BRIDGE CLUB Mrs. James Strate entertained her bridge club Tuesday with dessert and Cards. Mrs. Rex Causer, Mrs. Max Dooley and Mrs. Lem Shiner scored high for prizes. Gibson to be Feted at Open House on Her Birthday three children were in Preston, Idaho, over the past long week end to attend the forty-sixt- h wedding anniversary of Mrs. Parrys parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Maug-han. - In Logan they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Bentley Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs. John L. Chidester and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Maughan of Ogden with their families for the memtrip to Idaho. Twenty-thre- e bers of the Maughan family enjoyed breakfast together Monday in the Preston recreation park. On the way to Price, the Parry family visited the Eldon R. Cox family in Salt Lake City, where Dr. Parry and Mr. Cox relaxed at . the Fort Douglas golf club. A trip to Lagoon thrilled the youngsters. A week ago house guests of the Parrys were his brother and family k Mr. and Mrs. Harold Parry and six children from Inglewood, California. Mrs. Parrys sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Chidester and two children of Logan, also dropped in and the three y families made a tour of Goblin Valley in the desert near Green River. They were sent to Clover Valley, Pine Valley and to Fort Windsor-Pip- e Springs. Her father was a blacksmith and foreman. She recalls being visited by President Young on his last trip to southern Utah on his way to Kanab. After the death of President Young the family settled in St. George. She met and married Arthur E Gibson while visiting in Price Service 1 8-I- They celebrated January their 61st wedding anniversary just prior to his death in March of 1951.
