Mr. Leavitt died last Thursday. He was bom January 5, 1909, at Escalante, a son of Alvey and Rose Barney Leavitt. He married Nedra Grange May 11, 1931, at Castle Dale. He was a member of the LDS church, was a former diFish rector of the Carbon-Emer- y and Game Association and was an active sportsman, his principal interest during the past few years centering on work with youth baseball which he helped organize in Price under the Little League and subsequently the Western of Christian and Missionary Alliance H.
