Mrs. Bits of humor, philosophy and hints for happy living that have been collected over a life span of 82 years were passed on to the ladies of Elks by Mrs. Ella Reynolds at the last meeting of the club held Wednesday, November 6. Aunt Ella, as she is affectionately called by those who know her, also read some of her own poetry, holding the interest and catching the imagination of her audience with her remarkable memory, her amazing vitality and her charming manner. Hattie Kilfoyle, an old family friend, Introduced the speaker, who makes her home in Spring-villHazel Jeanselme sang a vocal solo to augment the program. She was accompanied by Margaret Stratton. Lovely fall flowers decorated the rooms and dessert was served following the meeting. Helen Kilfoyle presided. Ann Carlson was chairman for the arrangements for the evening, assisted by Bessie Bonto, Pauline Buchanan, Angelina Collingham, Hazel Jeanselme, Hattie Kilfoyle Helen Leavitt, Alice McKinnon, Alice Quinn, Josephine Glorioso and Elaine Jensen. Mrs. Clay Allred of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Ershell Sheperd were also present for the mid-da- KNIT WIT CLUB NEWS Members of Knit Wit Club were entertained by Mrs. Art Rasmussen at a pleasant evening of sewing and visiting Friday evening, November 8. Miss Maurine who has been visiting with her mother, Mrs. Don Moffitt and Mrs. Lucilla Eaton, the mother of Mr. Elwood Mathis, were special guests. Others present, besides those mentioned, were Mrs. Byron Thompson, Mrs. Murray Mathis, Mrs. Mark Hammond, Mrs! Hardy Bryner, Mrs. Clark Creamer, Mrs, Arvel Stevens, Mrs. Carlyle Pace and Mrs. George Young. Gifts were received for Mrs. Pace and Mrs. Brig Harmon from their secret pals. Gass-ma- n, meetings. COUPLES MEET FOR BRIDGE Mr. and Mrs. Omar Bunnell entertained the couples of their bridge club ar their home last week. Dessert was served and prizes went to Mrs. Eugene and Mr. Don Moffitt, who, with his wife, was a special guest. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Allred and Mrs. cfromar were also present. Other program numbers included a piano solo by Linda Downard, a vocal quartet by Janet and Carolyn Johnson, Marianna Allred and Marilyn Pitts, accompanied by Florence Pitts, a violin selection by Terry Gagon, accompanied by Connie Vouros and an imitation of Elvis Presley by Mary Helen Bunnell. MRS. HANKS HOSTESS TO CLUB Mrs. Howard Hanks was hostess when the Tuesday evening bridge club met November 12. Mrs. Booth Kil foyle and Mrs. Joe Glorioso were official, hostesses for the event. Mrs. Blaylock, wife of the state president of B.P.O.E.,' accompanied her husband to Price on official lodge business. NEWLYWEDS GREET FRIENDS AT OPEN HOUSE A number of friends called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Denzil Hancey Saturday evening, November 9, to greet their son and Mr. and new daughter-in-laMrs. K. Hancey, just returned from a weeks honeymoon trip to Los Angeles. The couple was married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple by President ElRay Christiansen November 1.
