The Mission of Motherhood was the theme of the day, and this was carried out in music, songs, short poems and talks and tributes 'o motherhood by the bishops of the wards. Superintendent Chris G. Jorgensen of the First ward and Superintendent Ned McCourt of the Second ward were in charge of the programs. Unusually large congregations were in attendance at both meetings, and beautiful little flowering potted plants were presented to all mothers present. A suit seeking $25,000 general damages and $573 special damages has been filed in the Seventh judicial district court of Carbon county against Karl PI. Newhousc, whose last known address was Chicago, Illinois, by Angelo Gcorgedcs, administrator of the estate of Andrew Haravgis, decreased. The complaint charges that on or about November 3, 1954, on a public highway at Seventh East and Main in Price, the defendant, Karl H. Newhouse, negligently, carelessly and recklessly drove and operated a Cadillac automobile into and against Andrew Haravgis, who was there crossing the highway and as a direct and proximate result of the negligence, carelessness and recklessness of the defendant, the said Andrew Haravgis was knocked down and mortally injured and the said Andrew Haravgis died November 10, 1954, from and as the direct and proximate result of said injuries. Mr. Georgedes, as administrator of the deceaseds estate, filed the complaint on behalf of 20 nieces and nephews, all residing in Greece, who are the heirs of the deceased.
