Investigating officers reported that Mr. Copfer, driving a truck or the Soldier Canyon Coal Company, was thrown from his vehicle when It collided with the rear end of another heavily loaded coal truck traveling down the canyon in the same direction. The other truck was driven by Albert 41, also of Price, who w'as not injured. The brake on the Copfer vehicle reportedly failed and it hooked onto, the preceding vehicle and went 63 yards from where Mr. Copfer W'as thrown out before Mr. Ustello brought the two vehicles to a stop. The two trucks were each carry-n- g about 15 tons of coal.
