Mrs. Gibson is in charge of the dining room, Mrs. BIRTHDAY PARTY A birthday party was a fun affair at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arden Mortensen Saturday evening. The guest of honor and nt a very suprised one was Mrs. Kartchner. After Mrs. Kartchner opened her birthday gifts the group went dancing and La-mo- later returning to the Mortensen home for a delicious covered dish supper. Sharing in the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pleasants, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Truman, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Gaillard, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Pace and Mr. and Mrs. John Best. Dr. F. R. King, guest speaker, reviewed the book, War, Politics and Insanity which stressed that through intellectual leadership Miety may be secured for the country and its people. Vocal numbers were sung by Fay Miller who was accompanied by Mrs. Melba Hyatt Mrs. Clara Powell and Mrs. Helen O. Smith were in charge of the arrangements for the eveIn decorating the tables ning. Mrs. Smith carried out a spring theme with daffodils and yellow tapers. St. Patricks was signified with four leaf clover favors.
