Show THE Page Six Popular Hair Styles for Summer and Fall Thursday, May 31, 1951 SUN-ADVOCA- Price Beautician Attends Beauty Conference Emma Lambson, Price beautician, attended the five-stabeauticians three-da- y conference and educational hair style show held in Salt Lake City in May and returned to Price With the latest information on advanced and hair styles. The first day of the conference, Mrs. Lambson states, was devoted to platform work conducted by Crace Doran featuiing You and your modern hair fashion. Miss Doran was guest artist from Doran and Comar School of Advanced Hair Styling of California where she is head instructor. She is a member of the Hollywood and western states hair design counsel and holds several participation awards for her demonstration and commenting. She has demonstrated to packed houses te time and again and has thrilled audiences with her talent in this profession. On the following day Mr. Murray, noted hair stylist of New York, gave a most interesting and thorough coverage of the hair dressing profession including hair shaping, hair styling and permanent wave problems. The third day and the wind up conference inof the three-da- y cluded hair coloring problems by Thelma Hinton, the art of all day make up by Donna Ramadke and new and different cosmetics and hair styling lessons. A question and answer period "Stump the Experts was conducted by six outstanding Utah beauticians. The question that stumped the experts was asked by Mrs. Lambson with the result that she walked away with prizes amounting to twenty-fiv- e dollars. The fashion parade showing models wearing professional clothes to harmonize with their hair styles, was the climax to the conference which was televised. Mrs. Lambson plans to attend the next educational beauty show which will be held in Salt Lake City the middle of June.
