When examined in No vember by Inspector Thomas T, Reay, Jr, the mine employed 10 men and averaged 80 tons of coal daily. Between inspections, accumu lated coal dust was removed from the shuttle-ca- r roadway in the old mine and the rock-du- st ap plications were advanced to with m 30 feet of the faces in this mine. Inspector Reay noted with appiov al. He added that permissible electric cap lamps were used for portable illumination and the 110 volt electric light circuit had been removed from the mine. The mine was ventilated satis factonly by natural means and the inspector reported plans for the installation of a main ventilating fan.
