Madsen, director of the project. . Story houis have been newly established in Sunnyside, Wattis and Castle Gate, and are being planned for Kenilworth, Spring Canyon, Standardville and Columbia. Junior or senior softball games have been started in additional communities, including Standardville, Latuda, Mutual, Spring Canyon, Wattis and Kenilworth. Organization of a junior league is contemplated if there is a demand for it. Communities interested in this project are requested to get in contact with Mr. Madsen. The next activity planned is a bicycle tournament and distance races to be staged the latter part of this month or the fore part of August. Residents of Wattis are planning a Wattis day, the event to be sponsored by the company, and the local union of the United Mine Workers of America and its Auxiliary. Other communities are considering excursions to either Price or Helper to take advantage of the swimming pools, parks and playgrounds. Mr. Madsen reported that the recreational program is receiving splendid support from community officials, who have cooperated by preparing for play and providing grounds equipment and buildings.
