E. Gibson of the Price Chamber of Commerce, who was a member of the local deleheld gation which attended a meeting at Loa last week to promote development of the road. They reported that the state, which is already finding it difficult to secure funds for matching federal appropriations for highway purposes, would not be able to create a new route, but project for the they declared they would attempt to increase the maintenance appropriation for the road so that the highway may be widened and curvature reduced. While not committing themselves definitely, the state commissioners indicated the outlook for improvement of the route is very favorable. The meeting was in charge of State Senator Silas E.
