Johnson, local Shell dealer, recently left for Salt Lake City to attend a study course in the manufacture and refining of petroleum products. The course is being conducted by Dr. G. P. Koch, refinery expert for the company, and includes instructions in modern methods of refining together with the geological structure of the fields from which the crude is produced. Instruction in latest marketing methods and a complete course in chemistry and industrial lubricants is offered. OCCUPATIONAL REPORT BEING PREPARED BY N, R. S. MANAGER An occupational report showing the number and classifications of workers registered with the district office of the national reemployment service is being prepared by Manager Walter D. Daugherty for national headquarters of the service in Washington, D. C. The report will cover Carbon, Emery, Grand and San Juan counties. Placements of workers on various federal and state projects in this district are being made almost daily, Mr. Daugherty said.
