ODay appeared and received sentence without any visible display. Allege Errors Possible legal errors may warrant a stay of execution in taking ODay to the prison to start his sentence, it was said. Judge Christensen, previous to sentencing him, denied an arrest of judgment forwarded by F. B. Hammond, defense attorney and listened to causes relative to a motion for a new trial. It is contended that an error was committed in returning the guilty charge on a grand larceny count, as the merchandise ODay was accused of having taken, did not exceed $50 in value.
