The two youths w'ere arrested at Grand Junction, Colorado, Fnday At the time, according to morning word received here, they weie in possession of an auto which had been allegedly stolen at Alamosa, Coloiado They are reported to have admitted theft of the Johnson car and driving it to the Colorado city, abandoning the machine there Mr Johnson was notified Friday by Colorado peace officials that his car had been picked up there after having apparently been abandoned The car allegedly stolen in Colorado belong to a dealer. Theft of the car belonging to Mr. Johnson was the second such occur-anc- e within a week, his auto having previously been taken in front of a local residence and then was found the following morning just east of Price. The keys to the ear, however, had been removed by the parties who had stolen the machine, Mr. Johnson advertising a reward for their return Later the auto was removed from his residential garage on North Carbon avenue. When arrested at Grand Junction the boys are said to have given assumed names. It was claimed that at the time of their apprehension they were in possession of a number of articles which had been reported by residents of Colorado as having been stolen.
