She was the grandmother of two Carbon county men, Don Hacking, Carbon county assistant clerk of court, and his brother, Leonard, the latter a resident of the Spring Canyon district Mrs. Vncox was born in Iowa on February 28, 1847, and came with her parents to Utah a few months later, traveling with the Erastus Snow company, first train of Mormon settlers to arrive in a large group in this state.
