Grandparents are Reid and Norma Burrows, Richfield; Joe and Gwen Roach, Richfield and Shelby and Linda Durfee of Price. Great grandparents are Mel and Lila Christensen, Aurora; Lyla Barney, Aurora;- Myrle Burrows, in our hearts for him. Raymond Charles Campbell of Charles Raymond Campbell, age 90, of Salina, died May 1, 1993 in Richfield, Utah. He was bom October 9, 1902 in Naff, Utah, a son of Levi Truman and Agnes Booth Campbell. He married Afton Lemmon, November 14, 1927 in Ogden, Utah. They were later divorced. He was a sheepman and rancher all of his life. He and his wife, Mae, served an LDS Mission to Louisville, Kentucky from 1979 to 1981, which was the highlight of their lives. Survivors include his children: Norma and Don McBride, of Mon-tellNV; Phyllis and Robert Nielsen, " "'ma, Utah; Linda and Lanor Aurora, Utah; Wayne Whitlock, Vemand Dorothy I vie, of New Park, PA; 19 grandchildren, 36 and 1 He was preceded in death by a daughter, Beth Nielson, 1 5 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 5, 1993 at Noon in the Salina Third LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the SpringerTumer Funeral Home, Salina, Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and again Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Salina Eastside Cemetery. n, o, Naomi Mellor Dorius, 83 Naomi Margaret Mellor Dorius, 83, passed away April 26, 1993, age at her home in Fayette, Utah. She was bom March 15, 1910 in Castle Gate, Utah to William James Mellor and Mary Elizabeth Haycock. She graduated from Gunnison Valley High School in 1928. She married Clyde L. Dorius on March 28, 1930 in Richfield, Utah. She attended Snow College, graduated with an Education Degree from Brigham Young University, and completed courses at San Diego State in the Masters Program. She taught elementary school for forty years in Utah and California. She also taught early morning seminary while living in California, and also tutored special needs children. She encouraged her children, grandchildren, and students to excel in education. She was active in the LDS Church, holding numerous positions. She housed many missionaries in her Brawlcy home and served a mission in the Yuma Arizona Stake. She was president of the Brawley, CA Business and Professional Womens Association. In her later years, she enjoyed doing temple work in the Manti Temple. Also, with the help of her family, she organized, built, and operated the Warm Creek Ranch House Restaurant in Fayette, Utah. Survivors include Clyde L. Dorius, six children. Dr. Lowell C. Dorius, Oakdale, CA; Mary Colleen Roundy, Huntington Beach, CA; Cindy Andreoson The Aurora Youth Council distributed special newsletters throughout thecommunity last week encouraging residents to sign up for the grant assistance available for the $350 hook up fee for the sewer system. Bob and Karen Hales are proud new grandparents of a baby girl born Friday, April 30, to Robert and Colleen Hales, in Logan. Older brother, Mike is happy to have his baby sister home. The baby will be named Briana Lyn. Special wishes to Blaine and Amy Curtis who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary May 4. Visiting with them have been Elda and Vem Freeman, former Aurora residents, now living in Mesa, AZ, and cousins Bill and Helen Clawson, of Portland, Oregon. Shawn and Kandace Boswell, daughters of Kelly and Leslie Boswell, participated in the Cinderella Pageant May 1, in Richfield. Both girls came away winners. Shawn won the first place crown in the 9 year old division for beauty, and 4 year old Kandace won 2nd place for beauty in the 3 to 6 year old division. Saturday, May 1 was the day a set for the Fish Lake District at Richfield City Park. Scouts of all ages attended and took part in the many booths available including rope making, dutch oven cooking, adventureland, pinewood derby and rapelling tower. The Sunshine Clpggers and Jazz Teams are back from Southern California and their performance at Disneyland. They visited the beach, Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios and the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum before coming home Monday morning. Debbie Bennett of Salt Lake City visited her parents, Wayne and Tana Bennett, aver the weekend. Bryan and Lori Burroughs were married in the Manti LDS Temple, Friday, April 30. He was bom May 22, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bryan and Laurie Durfee Burrows. We are going to miss our Little Dude very much. Bohen was the sunbeam in our lives. Honorary lifetime member of dairy shrine club in 1977. Outstanding Dairyman of the year for the state of Utah in 1982. He was recognized for 25 years as a leader in Soil conservation. Joseph Elierman, 85 Joseph Elierman, resident of Salina for the past twenty years, passed away April 26, 1993 in Richfield, Utah. He was bom March 16, 1908 in Davenport, Iowa. He was a maintenance superintendent for the City of Los Angeles, and upon retirement moved to Salina because he enjoyed the hunt Centerfield ment ing in this area. He was a Veteran of World War II; member of Salina American Legion Post 36; and member of the Catholic Church.
